The wine has an intense ruby red color with purple hues. After a careful selection of the grapes, they are fermented for 25-30 days at a temperature of 25 °C. The wine is then aged in new oak barrels for 12-18 months. The aging in oak barrels adds a rich structure of tannins to the wine, which gives a persistent bouquet and pleasant taste without being too dominant. Ripe, complex and structured. A “meditation wine” with wild mint and coffee notes.
Year: 2021
Grape: Primitivo & Barbera del Sannio
Suitable for classic Mediterranean dishes.

Wines from Naples to North Jutland – a wine adventure has begun
The wines come from the winery, Vitis Aurunca, which is located just outside Naples in the Campania district of Italy. Vitis Aurunca is owned and run by the Ceparano family, who planted the first vines back in 2008. The winery's area is 800 meters from the Mediterranean coast, beautifully embraced by the Mont Massico mountain and the Roccamonfina volcano. Today, red, rosé and white wines are produced, as well as sparkling wines, and the first vintage was released in 2014, and showed from the start a completely unique potential. The wines are stored in both steel tanks and new French oak barrels.
